The political choice of each grenadian must be respected. However,I think it should be clear to everyone THAT CHANGE IS HERE...Change with the NDC...After 13years the NNP still has a chance? If that is the case I think something is wrong with our ppl. There will be resistance to change, however what I am seeing is ridiculous. There is a saying that "Poverty of purpose is worst than poverty of purse" and I think thats the poverty some grenadians are suffering from.Intellectual poverty is what some of our ppl are suffering from..
To many Grenadians are under the impression that the government and political parties are to blame for all the problems Grenada is expriencing. The emegerence of gangs, the increasing murder rates, teenage pregnancy, domestic abuse and other social ills seemed to be politically motivated. It is time Grenada realise that these problems are not the fault of the government but the by product of the breakdown of the family structure and our neglect to love our neighbour. The family morals and values have decayed, society is in tumoil, people's communities are in arnchy because we can't take responsibility for the lack of interest we have in our families. We need to become more family oriented, we need to stop having babies young, we need to abstain, we need to stop the killing, we need to be more religious and finally we need to stop pointing the finger at everyone else for our own problems which we have created for ourselves. Government is there to facilitate growth, but the people are the driving force behind that growth. Take up your responsibility.
